Eye design
The gaze is the window to the soul, and the light in the eyes gladdens the heart.
Often a look says more than a thousand words; in it you reflect your joys, your sorrows, your desires, your hope, your anger, your fears… Which is why eye design surgery is a very rewarding and highly requested surgery.
It's common for our appearance to change with age, but not our spirit: we may feel joyful, yet our gaze reflects seriousness or anger; we may feel full of energy, yet our eyes reflect weariness. In business meetings, we appear tired or lacking in energy; at home, our loved ones see us as serious or angry. Sometimes these changes are more subtle, which women notice quickly, such as when applying mascara becomes difficult, not to mention eyeshadow.
Time has its own rhythm; no one can speed it up or slow it down. With it comes change, which we can, however, slow down or even reverse! Cosmetic surgery treatments can either slow the clock's passage of time or even reverse it.
The most frequent changes that the passage of time brings to the eyes are: a laxity of the skin on the eyelids, a downward movement of the eyebrow, a decrease in the volume surrounding the eye and ends up hiding them, or the opposite can happen and there is an increase in volume around the eyes giving them a prominent appearance (the famous and unwanted bags).

However, eyebrow design surgery isn't just for rejuvenating the eyes. It's increasingly being performed on young people to create a more attractive look with permanent eyebrow shaping, eliminating the need for makeup tricks or tattoos (our surgeon strongly advises against eyebrow tattooing, as it's generally done on adult skin and doesn't always correspond to the patient's actual eyebrow shape, which has descended over time. Therefore, the tattooed eyebrow will be in an unfavorable position that's difficult to correct since it doesn't match the natural shape). It can also be used to create a permanent almond-shaped eye shape without resorting to makeup techniques or devices like tape. And it can correct dark circles under the eyes that aren't caused by lack of sleep or dehydration, which can sometimes be seen in very young people.

Eyelid surgery , or blepharoplasty (the technical name), is a meticulous procedure with a quick recovery and high satisfaction for both the patient and the surgeon. The benefits range from a more youthful appearance to a more attractive look. Complications are rare, occurring in less than 1% of cases (1 out of 100 patients will experience a complication). The most feared complication is vision loss, which can occur in up to 0.01% of cases (1 out of 10,000 patients will experience this complication). Other complications include asymmetry, infection, dry eye, and malposition of the eyelashes or eyelids.
The procedure is outpatient, meaning you return home the same day. It generally takes 2 to 4 hours, depending on the desired results. The procedure is performed under light sedation (the patient drowsy) or deep sedation under the supervision of an anesthesiologist.
Recovery is relatively quick, with a return to daily activities in about one week and almost full reintegration into daily life within three weeks. Pain is minimal. The scar is generally invisible.
The price range starts at $2,850 USD (this includes pre- and post-procedure consultations, operating room use and consumables during the procedure, surgical and anesthetic team fees, and medications during recovery) and will be determined by the treatment plan suggested by your plastic, aesthetic, and reconstructive surgeon. As we know, not all dresses fit all bodies. At Kintsugi, we don't aim for generic results: we think like artists, plan like architects, and execute like engineers. Just like with a dress, the result of your treatment is what people will see when they meet you. It's an investment in yourself.
At Kintsugi we will take care of you and accompany you throughout your aesthetic experience.
