His humanistic character has led him to participate in a foundation called HUGS "Help us Give Smiles" which in Guatemala has an altruistic activity led by one of the most prominent Facial Plastic Surgeons Dr. Vito Quatela established in New York. Twice a year they operate on children in Guatemala that nature has not allowed them to be born with ears or a properly shaped nose.
